Backed by international investors wanting to partner with Aussie companies, we identify & buy companies wanting to retire/cash in.
70% of Aussie companies are now owned by a person aged 60+. Many of these people are running a good business, but they are looking to retire soon. We want to keep their legacy going, and help them to receive the payout that their years of hard work deserve.
Our approach is one of mutual benefit, a respectful partnership, not a take-over
Firstly, we check that the company has at least 30% consistent Gross Profit, not more than 20% overheads, and has 10% consistent Net Profit; that's a 'solid company' in our eyes.
We aren't looking for 'kock-down price deals' here, we have investors that want to pay a fair price for a fair company. So we help to use established valuation models to arrive at an offer for you.
Our investors are seeking growth of their portfolio value. So we try to identify companies that could grow, e.g. to new regions, new adjacent services, new marketing methods.
Once a deal is agreed, we are all about keeping the legacy going. That's about making your customers feel loved, your staff feel valued, your brand feel proud, and we involve you in those early decisions.
We worked for years to build our business. Australis respected that, respected our team and our customers, and worked with us for a smooth transition to keep the business going after our retirement.
I didn't have all the paperwork completely up to date, but Mike and his team helped to work with us to document our performance, understand our true profitability, and establish a business that was sell-able.
Mike's team offered useful advice on how to grow our business, were friendly and helpful to work with, met with us in person, and made us feel positive about how the business would be managed in future.
