Who do we buy?
70% of Aussie companies are now owned by a person aged 60+. Many of these people are running a good business, but they are looking to retire soon. We want to keep their legacy going, and help them to receive the payout that their years of hard work deserve.

Our approach is one of mutual benefit, a respectful partnership, not a take-over
Step 1: Financial Fundamentals
Firstly, we check that the company has at least 30% consistent Gross Profit, not more than 20% overheads, and has 10% consistent Net Profit; that's a 'solid company' in our eyes.
Step 2: Fair Valuation
We aren't looking for 'kock-down price deals' here, we have investors that want to pay a fair price for a fair company. So we help to use established valuation models to arrive at an offer for you.
Step 3: Path to Growth
Our investors are seeking growth of their portfolio value. So we try to identify companies that could grow, e.g. to new regions, new adjacent services, new marketing methods.
Step 4: The Deal
Once a deal is agreed, we are all about keeping the legacy going. That's about making your customers feel loved, your staff feel valued, your brand feel proud, and we involve you in those early decisions.

Our investments range from $200k to $2,000,000 depending on the company. This means we will suit most employing SME's, rather than corporates or sole-operators

We are part of a network of high net worth individuals, mostly based in US, Canada, UK, Germany and Australia, who are looking to expand their wealth via companies that will outgrow the stock exchange
Can individual investors participate in Australis Equity Groups funds?
No, sadly. We are about buying solid-performing Australian companies, on behalf of wealthy investors, and building them in to larger companies, we aren't about offering individuals an investment vehicle
What is the exit strategy for investments made by Australis Equity Group?
When we buy a company, the terms will vary. Some will be cash up front, others will involve an earn-out of the owner, others will be performance-based, it depends on the assets and risk of that company
